DescriptionLead Marketing Data ScientistLocation: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). An ideal candidate must live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations listed here: Louisville, KY; Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN; Norfolk, VA; Chicago, IL; St. Louis, MO; Dallas, TX; Miami, FL; Tampa, FL; Hanover, MD; Mendota Heights, MN or Columbus, OH.The Lead Marketing Data Scientist employs advanced statistical techniques to gain critical insights into acquisition and member retention behavior drivers and preferences. Consults business leaders and internal partners to apply the insights from statistical applications to support information based strategic decision making.How You Will Make an Impact:

Provide analytical insights to support business solution development based on quality, use, cost and other key drivers.

Develop targeting criteria or customer segmentation based on analytical insights, clinical inputs, product design and operations considerations.

Develop and refine analysis templates for problem diagnosis and opportunities assessment.

Consult on all considerations related to designing and executing analysis projects.

Contribute to the design of new program/initiative based on analysis outcomes.

Develop predictive models and other tools that help target the right members.

Develop methodology to measure financial outcomes of a program/initiative.

Address limitation of certain data sources and evaluate incremental value of new data sources.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires MS, MA, or PhD with concentration in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Epidemiology, Engineering, Computer Science, Public Health or Operations Research and a minimum of 5 years of experience in related health care analytics; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Highly Preferred Qualifications:

Formal training and experience applying multivariate techniques to marketing or customer data including Logistic Regression, OLS, Factor Analysis, Cluster Analysis.

Experience with SQL and standard statistical software such as SAS, Python, SPSS or R.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Direct Marketing channels such areas as Digital and Direct Mail.

Experience working with 3rd party data sources.

Experience applying segmentation techniques to Direct Marketing channels.

Experience with econometrics.
