CONCRETE LABORER, FINISHER & FORM SETTER
COMPANY:
Synergy Concrete is a Bozeman, Montana based concrete contractor. LOCATION:
Our concrete yard is currently based out of Big Timber, MT. Our concrete crew currently covers projects from Big Sky to Big Timber.
CONCRETE LABORER:
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Assisting in setting forms, pouring, and finishing concrete
Cleaning and preparing jobsite, tools and supplies
Loading and unloading materials and tools
Bending, placing and tying rebar
Placing and stripping forms.
Setting grade
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
CONCRETE FINISHER & FORM SETTER:
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Setting forms
Inspecting surfaces for pouring issues
Directing casting of concrete with the truck driver
Pouring, smoothing, and leveling using hand and power tools
Monitoring effects of weather on the curing process
Applying sealing and hardening components
Polishing surfaces
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
CONCRETE FOREMAN
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Oversee activities pertaining to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing and curing.
Resolve problems that may affect project quality and timely completion.
Consult blueprints, drawings and plans to ensure structures are accurately placed.
Complete takeoffs of steel, concrete and other needed materials.
Delegate tasks and organize mid-sized crew of concrete laborers and provide overall guidance to the team.
Maintain accurate records on materials used for each project.
Ensure formwork is erected, supported and dismantled based on engineering drawings.
Inspect concrete after formwork and shoring are removed and instructing laborers on correcting defects.
Other daily supportive tasks as needed
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces
Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to work overtime and weekends as required by the workload
Observe and comply with all safety and project rules.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of hand-held power tools including vibrators, polishers, cutting saws and edging tools
Reliability and punctuality
Positive attitude and detailed work ethic
Ability to understand, follow, and communicate written and oral instructions
Desire to learn, work as a team and advance your skills
Demonstrate safe work habits and knowledge of safety rules and instructions
Reliable transportation and valid driver license are required
WAGES AND BENEFITS:
Wage $20-35/hour + DOE
4x 10-hour days with optional overtime
