Montana Ironworks is a metal fabrication company seeking an experienced full-time welder.
We are looking for someone reliable with the patience and attention to detail required to ensure quality welds. A focus on safety is paramount to the work we do.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing SMAW, GTAW and MIG welding on various metals. Pipe and structural welding are required. Minimum of 5 yearsâ experience.
Work will be performed both in our shop in Laurel, MT as well as onsite in various locations as required for our projects. Our projects are typically concentrated within a 3-4 hoursâ drive from Billings, MT. Travel, including overnight stays, will be a regular part of this job.
This is a full-time position working (4) ten hour shifts Tuesday through Friday. Overtime, including both longer days or weeks, may be required as our project schedule dictates. Preference will be given to candidates with general mechanical ability pertaining to mining operations and/or other industrial facilities.
Pay is dependent upon experience. Drug testing, background check and a valid driverâs license are required for employment.
