Millwright/Mechanic - Sawmill
Immediate opening!
Fox Lumber Sales is seeking an experienced Millwright/Mechanic for our sawmill facility in Laurel, MT. Starting Pay DOE, attendance & safety bonus available. Health plan, 401K, vacation, sick and holiday. Hours may vary, normally 6:30a-3:30p, but are not limited to these times.
Must have mechanical aptitude. Be willing to work overtime as needed, be physically and mentally able to perform maintenance tasks, and establish a good working relationship with all mill personnel. Perform preventative maintenance and maintain appropriate preventative maintenance checklists. Proficient in Welding, Cutting, Fabricating and Trouble-shooting manufacturing equipment. Independent thinking while bringing new ideas to the management team is expected. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager. Required to maintain a safe working environment and comply with all Fox Lumber Sales safety rules and wet down policies.
Experience in a lumber facility is preferred, but a combination of skills and experience in other manufacturing and mechanical industries with similar equipment may be considered.
