Job Description The Shop Foreman will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the Shop and Personnel within our commercial and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities:
Supervision: As a Shop Foreman, you supervise staff, ensuring they adhere to safety regulations and protocols.
Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews with employees to assess their work.
Workflow Optimization: Collaborate with management to develop strategies that optimize workflow and operational efficiency.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper operation and maintenance of all equipment and machinery.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as updating equipment orders, stock receipts, and staff schedules.
Other
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
Fabricate, assemble, and install parts and equipment
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: 3+ years work experience as a Shop Foreman or in a similar role.
Optimization Knowledge: A solid understanding of work optimization techniques and diagnostics.
Safety Awareness: Good knowledge of applicable safety regulations and procedures.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Certifications: Relevant training and certifications as a Shop Foreman.
ASE Certified Preferred but experience will be considered.
OSHA certified
