Yellowstone Tour Guide Summer 2024

Are you deeply passionate about Yellowstone National Park and the wonders of the natural world? Are you adept at sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm with others? Join our esteemed team at Sky’s the Limit Tours, a certified Yellowstone National Park commercial guiding operation, as we seek to recruit experienced and professional guides for the upcoming 2024 guiding season. We offer day tours of the Upper and Lower Loops.

At Sky’s the Limit Tours, we believe in the transformative power of connection with nature. Our mission is to foster deep connections between our guests and the awe-inspiring landscapes of Yellowstone, while instilling a sense of environmental stewardship and conservation awareness. We take pride in delivering exceptional educational experiences that leave a lasting impact on our guests.

As a tour guide for Sky’s the Limit Tours, you will lead semi-private (two small groups maximum) on educational day tours spanning approximately 7 hours within Yellowstone National Park, commencing and concluding in West Yellowstone, MT (with exceptions as necessary). Sky's the Limit will provide tour vehicles for you to drive in West Yellowstone. While typical tour groups consist of 2-4 guests, you may occasionally be tasked with guiding larger groups requiring the use of company vehicles (and $50 extra for each guest above 4). Please note that as a contracted guide, shifts are not guaranteed, though during peak months in July-Sept, you can expect to be offered 1-2 tours per week, if not more.

One of our owners and our other guide will both be gone for the month of May so we are specifically looking for someone who can start training at the end of April and has flexible availably in May.

We offer competitive compensation well above industry standards, yielding $250 for each day tour, plus gratuities ($150 daily average). Additionally, our guides enjoy a range of perks including paid training, $50 daily gas reimbursements, and a $20 bonus for each received review.

The official guiding season runs from May 1st - October (flexible end date). Paid training will take place in the end of April and the first week of May.
