Position: Lead Montessori Teacher
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive educational services for a small group of children within the PreK-Kindergarten classroom setting.
Cultivate a positive and engaging atmosphere for children, families, and fellow staff members.
Effectively manage staff and children schedules to ensure a harmonious learning environment.
Coordinate tours and engage with prospective students and families, showcasing the unique nature-based educational program.
Contribute to the creation of a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that fosters optimal development for each child.
Maintain a tidy and organized classroom, actively involving children in daily clean-up activities.
Plan and execute the children's daily schedule, implementing a thoughtfully designed curriculum and engaging lessons.
Apply positive guidance strategies to address emotional, social, and behavioral challenges, fostering a supportive learning atmosphere.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Minimum age requirement: 18 years old (High School Diploma or GED preferred).
CPR/FA certification required within 6-12 months of hire.
A minimum of three (3) years of professional or personal experience supporting children.
Montessori Certification is a significant advantage, demonstrating a commitment to progressive and child-centered teaching methods.
