Barista/Cashier – Aurore French Bakery (Bozeman, MT)
Full-time | Tues–Sun | $16/hr + tips (target $23–$26/hr)
Bonjour! Aurore French Bakery brings authentic French pastries, breads, and café culture to Bozeman. We are hiring for Aurore French Bakery in Four Corners and for Café Aurore, our new café inside the Baxter Hotel downtown Bozeman. Addresses are below.
About the role:
Barista, cashier, and guest experience in a fast-paced, detail-focused, physically active environment. If you love great service, staying active, and being part of a positive team, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Welcoming and greeting customers
Take orders and handle payments
Prepare and serve French coffee, teas, and other drinks
Keep the register area and dining room clean and organized
Restock supplies and maintain pastry display cases
Answer customer questions and take custom orders
Wash dishes, sweep, take out trash, and clean the grease trap daily
Follow food safety and sanitation standards
If assigned to Café Aurore downtown: pick up pastries from the bakery at the start of your shift, then open or close the shop, and drop off pans at the bakery at the end of your shift
Schedule:
Tuesday to Sunday, specific days to be set
Aurore French Bakery: 6:00 AM–2:00/3:00 PM
Café Aurore: 6:00 AM–1:00 PM or 12:00–7:00 PM (morning or afternoon shifts)
Full-time, year-round (not seasonal)

Barista experience preferred, not required
Reliable and punctual
High energy and comfortable on your feet
Coachable and open to feedback
Curious and eager to learn about French food, coffee, and culture
Able to work independently and take initiative
Enjoys a clean, team-oriented workplace
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Not a fit if you:
Cannot work weekends
Do not enjoy physically demanding work
Prefer a slow-paced environment
Cannot commit long-term
Struggle to bring steady, positive energy to the team
Pay and Benefits:
$16/hr starting wage + tips (typical total $23–$26/hr)
