The Bartender is responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness and presentation of Bar 72. The bartender is responsible for exceeding the expectations of our members and guests by providing exemplary customer service daily.
Responsibilities
Greeting guests upon arrival.
Responsible for getting set-up appropriately at start of shift (bottles out, set up garnish tray, check and stock juices, stock glassware, fill ice bin, etc.)
Consistently check bar area for cleanliness and ensure that all necessary items are in place.
Ensure that all liquor items are stocked and ready to use. Responsible for liquor control and accurate pouring of product.
Responsible for possessing clear knowledge of all various liquors, beer and wines available by the Club.
Practices responsible alcohol service.
Responsible for assisting with the service of food and beverage to the Members and guests at the bar.
Comprehensive knowledge of the food menu, including daily features and specials that may not be available directly on the menu.
Accurately execute Member/guest orders and requests in a timely fashion.
Know Members names and greet them promptly in a manner to provide a warm welcome and making them feel at home.
Responsible for maintaining good conduct and safe working habits while in all areas and assuring others are acting safely.
Move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The use of cellphone or electronic devices is strictly prohibited during shift or work hours.
