J.W. Heist, the Bozemans newest high-end steakhouse, is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front of House Expeditor. At J.W. Heist, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences with top-quality steaks and unparalleled service.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Front of House Expeditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Order Preparation and Delivery:
Ensuring that orders are prepared promptly and delivered accurately to the correct table or host stand.
Assisting in coordinating the flow of orders between the kitchen and the dining area.
Communication:
Calling out orders to chefs and coordinating with wait staff.
Explaining special orders and modifications to cooks and kitchen staff.
Acting as a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.
Quality Control:
Monitoring the quality of dishes before they leave the kitchen.
Making final preparations, such as plating and garnishing, to ensure each dish meets our high standards.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a similar role or in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
