Job Summary:

As a Line Cook, you will work under the supervision of the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef to prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to our menu standards. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality, presentation, and consistency of food while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work well with other kitchen staff and communicate effectively to ensure timely service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook food to order according to recipes, standards, and specifications.

- Station Setup & Cleanliness: Set up and organize your workstation, ensuring that all tools, equipment, and ingredients are stocked and ready for service.

- Consistency & Quality: Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation with every plate served.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.

- Health & Safety Standards: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and cleaning practices.

- Time Management: Ensure that dishes are cooked and delivered within the established time limits.

- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment in good working order, reporting any issues to management.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.

- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Basic knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.

- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school degree or relevant certification is a plus.
