Whole and Nourished is a local, fully prepared meal delivery service based in Belgrade. We love making it easy for busy professionals and families to eat well, support local and reduce waste.

We are seeking an Operations Manager/Chef. There's potential for the right individual to become a business partner in the future.

As our Operations Manager/Chef, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen operations, handling everything from meal prep and cooking to packaging and inventory on a weekly basis. Your mission? Maintaining top-notch food quality and hygiene standards while continuously improving our systems. We need someone reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to dive in.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced cook who thrives in a healthy and collaborative work environment.

DUTIES

Executing recipes for 7-8 items weekly, managing prep, cooking, cooling, and packaging processes

Creating new recipes to add to our library of over 400 menu items

Developing and adhering to a weekly prep schedule, considering staff capabilities and efficiency

Ensuring kitchen cleanliness and organization is upheld consistently throughout the day

Supervising a team of 3 kitchen staff members

Managing inventory and controlling food costs

Establishing and refining systems to enhance operational efficiency

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 3 years of professional cooking experience, culinary degree preferable

Availability on Saturday - Tuesday, approximately 7 am to 4 pm. Some flexibility with weekend days, but Monday-Tuesday is required.

Proven experience as a chef or other leadership role

ServSafe certification preferred; the course will be provided upon hiring if necessary

Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing practices preferred, or a strong willingness to learn them
