Freshies, the newest cafe on the south side of Bozeman, is looking to fill a couple of positions. We are looking for a prep cook, shift lead, and a cafe assistant. See job descriptions below. Please send resume with response.
-Prep Cook-
Looking for a responsible, independent worker to come in early in the morning (5am start time) to prep for the day ahead. Weekly availability must be 10-20 hours per week, but expect to increase over time.
Lists will be specific as well as ‘how to’ instructions. Some independent thinking will be required, but mostly sticking to specific lists with tasks and certain specs.
Must have previous basic prep experience (knife skills, proper food handling, basic commercial kitchen knowledge, etc.). Serv Safe is not required for hiring, but must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
Must have a flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
-Shift Lead-
Looking for a go setter, self starting person with food service experience. The ideal candidate should be constantly looking 2-3 steps ahead to ensure our customers get quick service in a timely manner.
Someone should have more BOH experience but willing to jump in, help the customer and mitigate/resolve customer service issues (or prevent them).
Daily tasks will consist of inventory (from prepped->unopened deliveries), barista (willing to train), running drive thru, prep work, cleaning, schedule building, budgeting, order placement.
