The Chalet Market in Belgrade is hiring a cook for our busy deli. Hours are weekdays 6 a.m. until work is complete. Cooks work independently in a separate building from the market. This is a great opportunity to social distance while working in a kitchen.
Cooking duties include:
Prepping and preparing 2 daily breakfast & lunch specials. Menu is available online: https://chaletmarket.com/deli-menu.html
Making deli salads (pasta, potato etc.)
Making 2 soups from scratch - everyday
Baking brownies, cookies, bars and desserts
Cooking skills:
Priority given to ServSafe certified candidates
Proven experience as a cook
Ability to use a commercial deep fryer
Ability to precisely follow recipes
Other duties include:
washing dishes
cleaning and stocking
A successful candidate must be able to self-start, work independently, follow directions, read and follow recipes, problem solve, communicate and take direction from the deli manager.
