SUMMARY:
Summary: We are looking to hire full-time in our yard as a yard laborer. Opportunities for advancement for committed employees who show strength in dependability, attitude, and skill set . This includes the ability to earn a Commercial Driver's License with an in-house certified CDL trainer. Consistent work schedule, M-F with over time. No experience is necessary, Company training offered.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Adheres to all company safety policies while preforming assigned duties in a productive and efficient manner.
-Material handling is a primary responsibility of this position. Therefore, ensuring product is handled in a safe manner
which prevents material damage is essential.
-Maintain a professional and courteous manner to all customers and co-workers.
-Yard laborers will be responsible for the continual loading and/or unloading of materials into or on to customer
vehicles. This may require the regular use of equipment to do so, or possibly manual manipulation of materials. R
-Required regularly to climb ladders to elevated platforms. This must always be done safely and without damage to
product or property.
-Maintain stock and flat stack lumber as needed to ensure Loader efficiency.
-Performance of other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Must have a valid drivers license.
-Forklift certification is a requirement of this position. Training & certification will be provided by Simkins-Hallin.
-Must preform company designed pre-employment physical evaluation.
-Must have a negative drug screening prior to hire and for all random selection tests following hire (This DOES include the testing for THC).
-With this position being a safety sensitive position you must be 18 to apply.
