We are the complete one-stop shop for Appliances, Cabinetry, Doors and Door Hardware, Lighting, Slab, Tile, and Wood Flooring. We currently have three physical Showroom locations throughout the North-West Region however our business is rapidly expanding across America and the Caribbean with our proprietary state-of-the-art software solution. The Job
Earth Elements Design Center is looking for a Janitorial Showroom Support person to join our team in our beautiful Gallatin Gateway, Montana showroom.
This position is responsible for cleaning, trash removal, supply stocking, and reporting any maintenance issues to management for the showroom, warehouse, and restrooms.
Responsible for cleaning, dusting, disinfecting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping assigned areas including floors, windows, surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
Collects and disposes of all trash to the designated location onsite.
Cleans, disinfects, and restocks restrooms throughout the day.
Cleans and restocks the coffee stations.
Responses quickly to emergencies such as spills.
Periodically shampoos carpets, buffs floors, and cleans windows.
Removes snow from doorway areas as needed.
Responsible for maintaining the supply closet stock and ordering supplies as needed.
Reporting any safety, maintenance, or cleanliness issues to management.
Communication is friendly and helpful to coworkers and guests.
Assists with special events.
Performs related duties as required.
Competencies: Attention to detail, good time management, flexibility, and takes initiative.
This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses janitorial equipment such as a broom, mop, vacuum, floor and carpet scrubber, duster, and cleaning supplies. Primarily inside in well-lighted, well-ventilated areas. Occasionally, this position works outside such as taking trash to the dumpster and cleaning windows.
This is an active role requiring the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, climb stairs, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
This is a full-time position with benefits. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a 30 minute lunch. There is a possibility of some overtime occasionally.
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
4 years of janitorial experience on a commercial property
Must be proficient in English speaking, understanding, reading, and writing
