POSITION: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LABORER
Pay: $25–$35/hour (1099 subcontractor role)
Hutch Construction is looking for hard-working, dependable laborers to join our team. Work includes custom homes, decks, remodels, excavation, and more.
We’ll help the right candidates get set up as subcontractors if you're not already one. Start making more and write off tools, mileage, and job-related expenses at tax time.
WORK INCLUDES:
- New Construction & Framing: load/unload lumber, set up tools, wall layout, cleanup
- Decks & Outdoor Projects: demo, dig footings, assist with framing
- Remodeling & Finish Carpentry: prep, assist with cabinet installs, trim, and punch lists
- Doors & Windows: remove/stage materials, help with installation
- Demolition & Concrete: break/haul concrete, run compactor, site prep
- Landscaping & Drainage: trenching, spreading gravel/soil, jobsite cleanup
- Excavation & Foundations: assist operators, use layout tools, compacting
- Electrical & Mechanical Support: pull wire, prep fixtures, organize jobsite
- Kitchen & Bath Remodels: demo tile/cabinets, stage replacement materials
REQUIREMENTS:
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Basic hand tools (or willingness to acquire)
- Show up on time, ready to work
- Ability to follow instructions and stay safe on site
