Custodians provide cleaning and light maintenance services in and around food service areas. The primary emphasis is on cleaning the public areas which include restrooms, carpeted and hard-surface floor care, kitchens, trash removal, furniture set-ups and other related duties. Custodians may work individually or on a team. This position is asked to interact in a positive manner with all guests to accomplish the department mission.
Clean and sanitize all public and common areas. To include: restrooms, service areas, stairwells, etc.
Carpeted and hard-surface floor care
Trash removal
Set up and tear down of areas such as conference spaces/seating spaces/public spaces dependent on facility
Move and straighten furniture, light food service equipment, dishes, glasses etc
May shovel snow at entry ways
Other related custodial duties
Actively participates as part of the team while performing other duties in support of the department’s mission.
This is a part-time position. Part-time employees work up to 16 hours a week, enjoy flexibility in their schedule and are eligible to receive holiday pay and annual & sick leave pay on a prorated basis.
