MT Contracting, Inc, a glass and glazing contractor, is looking for a hardworking, motivated laborer to perform a variety of physical tasks. If hired, you will be an integral part of our crew, helping support our field staff. While the job is largely physical, math skills and mechanical acuity are paramount. Training will be provided for working with all CNC controlled machinery in our facility (aluminum fabrication, glass and mirror fabrication, and steel plate processing). Training and certification will be provided for all forklifts that are used in the course of your day (shop and rough terrain).
Daily tasks include physically receiving freight and reviewing the paper work necessary to process the receipt of the material, ordering certain shop stock items, shearing and forming breakmetal, cutting, fabricating, and assembling aluminum storefront, curtainwall, and entrance frames, cutting and fabricating mirror and flat glass.
Work week is Monday - Thursday, 10 hours per day. Benefits; United Health insurance, PTO and Holiday pay. $28-$32 DOE
