Are you a morning person? Rise with the sun and start your days with flowers! Heather’s Garden Service & Flower Farm is looking for a responsible, reliable person to water our retail greenhouse, downtown Livingston hanging baskets & on-site client containers during early mornings from May thru September. Horticultural/greenhouse experience is preferred but not necessary, we we will provide in-depth training. 3-7 Days per Week.
Our most qualified candidates will have:
Driver’s license and clean driving record.
An ability to drive a truck with water tank and reach overhead with watering wand for 30 hanging baskets.
An ability to assist with delivering containers to properties and installing downtown hanging baskets.
An ability to accurately identify plant watering needs.
An ability to deadhead/maintain flowers in containers and hanging baskets, at times on a step ladder.
Self motivation and able to work independently.
An ability to mix fertilizers according to directions, and ability to recognize insects and diseases on plant material.
An ability to coordinate by text with Heather and/or another waterer.
An ability to start the work day by 5am (typically 4-5 hours.)
Pay $17 - $20/hr depending on availability and horticultural experience/interest
