StealthFyre is a locally owned and operated outdoors company that caters strictly to an online audience. As such, we are seeking a Social Media Content Creator with a passion for the great outdoors and a strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
As our Social Media Content Developer, you are responsible for developing and defining social media strategic marketing campaigns for StealthFyre. You are the owner of the overall execution, production, and task management. You are a copywriter, graphic designer, strategist, and customer service representative — able to adapt quickly to an ever-changing environment.
Your main goals will be to create relevant content for the purpose of increasing the size of our audience and conversion rate. All content should creatively market the StealthFyre brand to satisfy your employer's expectations. StealthFyre has very high standards for both our products and ourselves. All content should be stylistically polished and edited for factual accuracy and grammatical correctness. But above all, it should cater to our specific niche market that consists of people that are often un-trusting of social media marketing in general.
Please include at least two sample Facebook posts, three Instagram posts, and one blog writing sample in your portfolio when applying for this position.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Developing and executing strategies for Content Marketing campaigns directed towards the Outdoors, Survival, and Prepper markets.
Manage Facebook and Instagram updates and write between 2-5 blogs monthly.
Report on Content Marketing campaigns to StealthFyre on a weekly basis.
Create promotions and boosts as needed for StealthFyre campaigns.
Monitor & respond to StealthFyre’s audience on social platforms when necessary.
Collaborate and brainstorm with SEO managers and other writers on your team.
Monitor & analyze social media and website metrics, making improvements accordingly.
Stay on top of new technologies and industry news.
Actively participate in all team & department meetings.
Experience:
2+ years of general work experience.
Personal or professional ongoing writing, related education or job experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not necessary.
Experience in general outdoors activities like camping, outdoor cooking, and survival.
Qualifications:
Strong written communication.
Strong organizational skills.
Typing speed of 60 wpm or higher.
Able to work on your own, but also to take instruction.
Able to leverage social media content to increase the audience's engagement and awareness.
Self-driven learner (investigates new digital media technologies).
Must have the ability to get outdoors and use our products for the purpose of content creation (You will receive a StealthFyre stove as part of your employment with us).
Strong understanding of the Survival/Prepper markets, but also of the camping, hunting, and outdoor cooking markets as a whole.
