Position Overview:
As a Production Assistant, you will support our production team with various tasks related to brewing, distillation, and bottling. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, capable of lifting heavy materials, and comfortable working with machinery and chemicals in a production setting. This position requires a mix of hands-on production skills and the ability to communicate effectively and enthusiastically about our products.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the brewing process, including measuring ingredients, mixing, and monitoring fermentation
Support the distillation process by preparing equipment and ensuring the smooth operation of stills
Help with bottling operations, including filling, labeling, and packaging bottles
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed
Assist with inventory management and ensure that raw materials are properly stored and rotated
Handle deliveries and shipments as needed, including driving a company vehicle.
Assist in monitoring product quality and consistency throughout the production process
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in distillery operations
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly
Prior experience in a brewing or distilling is preferred, but not required
