Amsterdam Meat Shop and Feddes Family Meats is hiring for a Harvest (Kill) Floor supervisor.
Duties include:
- Handling of live animals- unloading, putting in pens, working animals
- Dispatching, skinning and eviscerating animals
- Organization and attention to detail- keeping animals organized
- Washing and cleaning carcasses
- Strictly maintaining quality and adhering to state inspection rules and tolerances
- Weighing and tagging carcasses
- Leading and directing floor crew (English/Spanish bi-lingual abilities a HUGE plus)
Position starts at $20/hour and goes to $25/hour when candidate shows initiative and ability to run the floor without additional supervision.
