Welder (Big Sky, MT)
Compensation: $33 - $37 DOE + Per Diem and Paid Drive Time + Employer paid benefits including family medical, dental and vision

Martel Construction, Inc. is currently recruiting for a certified welder or a welder that has the ability to become certified in at least limited, 3/8" 3G stick and 4G overhead dual shield for projects in and around Big Sky, MT. Our firm, founded in 1960, provides construction services from offices in Bozeman, Bigfork, and Missoula, MT. A 25,000 square foot state-of-the-art millwork shop in Missoula supports the entire company.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be reliable, while working in a dynamic environment producing quality work as a member of an engaged team. A certified welder with journeyman level carpentry experience is highly desired. This is a full-time combination welding/carpenter or labor position. Someone looking to weld while also engaging in a variety of different carpentry tasks would be an ideal applicant. If you are a welder but want to expand your skillset into carpentry this could also be a good opportunity. If you have lost your certs, we are willing to pay for recertification. Additional Requirements:
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and tools.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Good physical condition and endurance.
