Requirements
Minimum 3 years experience
Must have own tools
Must have valid driver’s license ((CDL Preferred)) and insurable through company insurance
Must have reliable source of transportation to get to work
Must have a current smart phone with data access for time keeping and texting
Full-time position with on-call and outside of regular business hours depending on need and season
Essential Functions
1. Operate safely, skillfully, and efficiently.
2. Maintain a clean and orderly shop.
3. Ability to multitask and prioritize necessary repairs.
4. Knowledge of diesel and gas engines, electrical and mechanical functions, including hydraulics.
5. Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and scheduled maintenance of equipment as needed.
6. Work performed in the shop and at job site as needed.
7. Keep accurate daily work order, time, parts, and supply records.
8. Working knowledge of hazards/safety precautions and operation in and around heavy equipment.
9. Willingness to learn and take directions as needed from supervisor.
10. Understanding of computers and smart phone apps for records, time keeping, texting, communication.
