Nehls Construction has 32 years of general contracting experience in the Gallatin Valley and surrounding SW Montana area. Our Current work schedule extends deep into 2025. We perform new residential construction and remodels.
We are currently seeking carpenters of various experience levels from 2 years of carpentry experience to journeyman. We value Safety, Quality, and Attitude above all else in our employees.
The ideal candidate has the following qualities:
A positive attitude
An insistence on safety at the job site for the clients, co-workers, subcontractors, and yourself.
A desire to provide top quality work no matter the task.
Ability to learn and grow competencies as well as provide feed back and input on improvements to the company and job.
Carpenters capable of working independently or with a carpenter's helper and completing high quality work.
Carpenters with a wide range of skills or the ability to acknowledge their lack of experience in a certain area and ask questions.
Experience in all aspects of carpentry is desired, but will be taught to employees with less experience.
Work will include:
Siding
Installing windows, doors, cabinets, and flooring
Trim Carpentry
Building decks and sheds as needed on larger remodels
Framing
Pay is DOE and very competitive for the type of employees we seek. Nail bags and hand tools required, all other tools will be provided by the company. We are a no drama company, we expect people to be polite to clients, coworkers and subcontractors and you will be treated the same.
