Job Summary
Southwest Montana ranch seeking full-time worker with competitive wages and housing included. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of general farm work, duties related to the production of potatoes, grain, hay and cattle.
Hours vary daily Monday - Saturday, with majority of Sunday's off unless needed.
Duties:
Operate and maintain farm machinery, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition.
Perform tasks as required for planting, harvesting, and transporting crops.
Knowlege of maintaining and repairing irrigation equipment
Perform the tasks to the livestock crop which includes feeding, caring for livestock, and maintaining.
Carry out equipment repair tasks as needed to minimize downtime on the farm.
Fix and repair fences on property
Operate motor bike and all-terrain vehicle in the course of performing duties.
Perform various farming tasks
Requirements
Candidates should possess experience or a strong interest in the following areas:
U.S. Valid driver's license
Ability to relocate
Operating and maintaining tractors and equipment
Must have past farming experience
Strong work ethic and ability to work well with others
Ability to work on task with little to no supervision.
Have the initiative and knowledge to know what is needed to be completed daily
