We’re seeking a self-starter who is ambitious, engaged, and ready to ensure our hotel remains safe, fully functional, and welcoming for guests and staff alike.Position SummaryAs a Maintenance Worker, you’ll be responsible for the general maintenance and repair of hotel facilities, equipment, and systems. You'll help ensure our property operates smoothly, meets safety and regulatory standards, and looks its best inside and out.This role is hands-on and vital to guest satisfaction and the day-to-day success of our hotel operations.Key Responsibilities Ensured guest comfort and safety by maintaining hotel equipment, rooms, and common areas. Respond to guest maintenance requests promptly and professionally Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled Complete and maintain accurate records of all work orders and repairs Keep exterior areas (walkways, parking lots, entrances) clean and hazard-free Maintain and repair locks, HVAC units (PTACs), TVs, phones, and plumbing Oversee and coordinate outside vendor work with GM approval Maintain safety systems, including fire alarms, smoke detectors, and extinguishers Keep storage and maintenance areas clean, organized, and secure Follow all OSHA, ADA, and hotel safety policies Respond to property emergencies as needed Requirements High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience) Knowledge of basic repair skills, including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills and a guest-focused attitude Ability to lift, carry, climb, kneel, and perform physically demanding tasks Basic computer skills for work orders and documentation Ability to read safety manuals and operating instructions and write basic reports Physical DemandsThis is an active role.
