Property Maintenance Technician/Painter

We are searching for a reliable property maintenance technician to oversee the day-to-day running of our property building. The property maintenance technician's responsibilities include performing ad hoc painting, electrical, and carpentry duties. You should also resolve guests’ maintenance-related queries and complaints as they arise.

To be successful as a property maintenance technician, you should demonstrate an organized, thorough approach to your duties.

Property Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

Oiling door knobs, locks, hinges, and gates, as required.

Installing doors and windows.

Installing and moving appliances and furniture.

Repairing and unclogging toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, and exterior drains.

Replacing carpets and floors.

Installing and repairing wires, plugs, and switches.

Painting communal areas and interior walls.

Maintaining exterior grounds and parking lot.

Tracking inventory to ensure that you have adequate maintenance supplies.

Ensuring that fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, and emergency exits remain in excellent working condition at all times.

Unlocking property’s in instances where guests have forgotten their codes.

Scheduling repairs that warrant special technical skills.

Property Maintenance Technician Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience painting interior walls, ceilings, doors and trim.

Prior experience as a property maintenance technician or in a similar role.

Plumbing and electrical experience advantageous.

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.

Dexterity and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Available to work on weekends, if required.

Part Time to Full time hourly position. Starting rate $14.00-$20.00/hr DOE.
