Headhunters Fly Shop hiring for shuttle and shop staff 2024. Yes, we begin to gather all stars for the Missouri River fishing season. Want to come join us for the next dry fly campaign? Want to fine tune your nymphing skills? Interested in learning there fine art of drift boat rowing? Want to get your foot in the door for a guide career in Craig?

Headhunters Fly Shop Hiring Shop Staff
March or April through the end of the season, October 31st. Year end bonus available for those who fulfill the time requirement.
40hrs/week. Competitive pay. Potential pay increase based on performance.
Retail experience preferred, but no experience required. Basic understanding of fly fishing products, fly fishing experience, POS/point of sale experience, along with a willingness to learn are all important for employment.

Don’t want to speak with customers about trout fishing? Rather think about it yourself while riding in the shuttle van? Have a clean driving record? Love to look at the river at 55mph? Then fish it yourself after surveying the river scene daily? Then you are cut from the Shuttle Mold! And many are. This up to 40hr/week position pays well, requires attention to detail, like not locking keys in the wrong car! Position includes all of the compensation below. Job skills should include
Ability to learn
Clean driving record/insurable
Basic knowledge of computer skills including professional fishing appearance, modern point of sale systems, friendly customer service interactions,
Knowledge of modern fly fishing products including rods, reels, lines, and flies.
40 hr work week. Some seasonal weeks may require a bit more than 40 hrs, occasional seasonal weeks with less than 40hrs
Strong self starter
Enjoy speaking, lots!, with customers about trout fishing
