How about a fun summer job meeting new people and living in the mountains? Located on the spectacular Rocky Mountain Front, our guest ranch is looking for 2 additional employees, a Housekeeper/Server, and an All-Around for the summer season.
The Housekeeper/Server duties include daily cleaning of the lodge, guest cabins, and public areas. Will keep up laundry, assist in the dining room set-up, serving guests and clean up after. Saturday is our cabin change-over day, and our staff all work together to prepare the ranch for the next weeks' guests.
The "All-Around" is a floating position with different jobs all around the ranch, wherever needed at any time. Duties may be: working in the gift shop, housekeeping/wait staff, ranch photography, answering the phone, helping in the office, yard work, painting/staining, helping with the kids program, assist with trail rides, guiding a hike, shuttling guests or other duties as assigned.
Both positions require someone who is in good physical health, flexible and able to work productively with or without supervision. There will be a lot of interaction with both guests and other staff. We look for mature, outgoing staff who have a ready smile, are willing to work hard, have fun, and love the outdoors and people.
As with most dude ranches, we compensate in several ways with full room and board, monthly salary, gratuities and the opportunity to work and play in a spectacular setting. Because of our relatively remote location, we encourage employees to have their own vehicle. Working and living together on a 24-hour basis is not always easy and requires that certain policies be observed out of respect for other employees and our family. A ranch job is not for everyone, but it is a job that will have many lasting friendships and memories.
