Seeking an individual with some experience to join our pastry team.

Primary Duties include pastry prep and production (cookies, bars, scones, pie, cake, quiche, sweet rolls and some breads), maintaining a standard of quality, collaborating with the pastry lead to improve on existing products and develop new ones
Secondary Duties include dishwashing, general cleaning, taking orders in person and via phone, boxing up orders as needed
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, mostly mornings (earliest shift starts at 5am), schedule can be flexible for the right person. 30 to 40 hours a week. Once we decide on your schedule, it will rarely vary from week to week. Possibility of starting part time and working up to full time.
Pay starting at $19. Food and drink perks, employee discount. Employee benefits starting after 6 months of employment: 6 month raise, sick leave, paid time off, and simple IRA retirement plan (3% employer match).
Must haves: some related experience, preferably in a bakery or restaurant, at the least a coffee shop, at the very least an avid home baker. Must be 18 or older with reliable transportation. Must be able to work long hours on your feet, bending, stooping, and occassionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
