Primary Purpose:

Your focus is positive relationships so donation experiences in Montana are good for everyone. These relationships are with hospital staff, medical examiners, coroners, funeral directors and other donation agency partners. Working through logistic challenges and creating win-win processes will make every day count.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Co-create hospital donation programs to strategically meet your goals.

Nurture relationships with hospital staff, coroners, medical examiners, funeral directors and other regional healthcare professionals serving the donation community.

Present educational experiences to diverse adult-learning audiences in varied settings.

Collaborate with policy makers for the best eye donation and recovery practices.

Share the success of your programs in person with each facility contact and work together toward improvement.

Analyze statistical trends and document regional performance to colleagues within SightLife.

Maintain a regional scorecard and manage to targets.

Problem solve before, during and after actual donor cases (involves 24/7 Pager availability).

Work collaboratively with other operational departments within SightLife.

Align regional programs to target outcomes within Partner & Community Resources through consistent communication.

Maintains accurate donation partner & stakeholder profile information in database.

Assist in budget planning and the evaluation of the cost-effectiveness of regional operations.

Serve the entire state with up to 60% statewide and regional travel.

Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Supports the Mission and Values of SightLife in all activities.

Qualifications:

You’ll be successful in this role by meeting the listed essential duties above with excellence. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.

Four (4) years’ experience in healthcare, public relations, communications or marketing field preferred.

Regional familiarity of 2+ years, or willingness to commit to at least 2-years of regional development.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Must be able to work long hours, nights, and weekends when needed (involves 24/7 pager availability), and travel the state for up to 60% of your work week.

Qualified applicants must be 21 years of age or older, have a valid driver’s license, and be eligible to meet our company driving standards.

Use your verbal and written communication skills to develop enthusiastic program acceptance.

Proficiency with a Windows operating system, MS Office, and database programs. Salesforce or equivalent CRM, and Case management system familiarity preferred.

Ability to manage the varied projects, tasks, and priorities while meeting deadlines.

Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.

Effective problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.

Experience at successfully and independently building and maintaining client-based relationships.

Demonstrates passion for the Mission and Values of SightLife, including personal support of organ and tissue donation.

Work Environment:

The work is performed in various settings to include office, car and hotel room and requires driving for extended periods of time in all kinds of weather conditions.
