We’re looking for a Civil Construction Superintendent to join our team — someone who’s driven, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of job site performance from start to finish.

Position Overview

The Civil Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role involves close coordination with project managers, foremen, and field crews to maintain production goals and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities for civil and sitework projects.

Schedule, coordinate, and manage field crews, subcontractors, and equipment.

Ensure compliance with all project drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Communicate daily with project management regarding progress, schedule, and field issues.

Manage materials, deliveries, and equipment utilization on site.

Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce Evergreen’s safety policies.

Track production quantities and assist in forecasting labor and equipment needs.

Maintain positive relationships with owners, inspectors, and project partners.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in civil or sitework construction, including utilities, grading, and earthwork.

Proven leadership and ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.

Strong understanding of construction plans, specs, and project documentation.

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with project tracking and scheduling software (e.g., HCSS, Procore, or equivalent).

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

OSHA 10/30 or other safety certifications a plus.
