Sweet Pea Outdoor School is hiring for a Part-Time Preschool Teacher. This position will begin the end of August and be for our Fall 2024-25 preschool program. This is a year-round position. If you enjoy working outside and have a passion for young children and nature this may be the perfect job for you!
Job Requirements include:
Experience working with young children and/or a degree in Early Childhood Education or Outdoor Education
Organize and provide daily curriculum
Provides love, understanding and patience while working with young children
Takes ownership of their job and place of employment
Great work ethic and is on time
Organized and able to go with the flow
Loves and respects the outdoors
Physically capable of being outside all day and working with young energetic bodies
Positive attitude
Must be able to communicate confidently and regularly with parents
We are looking for a qualified assistant teacher that would like to be part of a growing facility. This job has room for growth into a higher position. Pay starts at $17-$18 an/hour based off of experience. We provide paid holidays, winter break, and spring break. This position is for 3 days a week 8:15-3:15.
