$17/hr. (DOE) + bonus compensation for event travel within the Flathead Valley
We are seeking a cake baker to join our team! Creativity and passion for baking are a must have! Baking & kitchen experience preferred. Part time, 4 days per week (must be available on Saturday's and some Sunday's) and have reliable transportation to drive to and from catering events. Travel time will include extra compensation.
Serious inquiries only. This position is perfect for someone who is dedicated to growing in their baking and cake decorating skills, and want so to join a fun, creative team of baking professionals. Candidate must be reliable, trustworthy and team oriented with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
Baking cake layers, leveling, and stacking tiered wedding cakes
Making perfect buttercream, cake fillings, and fully coating/ decorating cakes
Baking & assembling dessert items such as tarts, cookies, dessert shooters, etc.
Master baking macaron shells & assembly
Mastering bakery 'mise en place' and prioritizing food safety
Preform daily cleaning tasks, and maintain a clean work space in our spotless commercial kitchen
Hours vary weekly based on event bookings. 25-30 hours per week May-September.
