RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Responsible for executing assigned tasks, projects, and expectations of the kitchen department in accordance with our mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
Packaging edibles, concentrates and other cannabis products.
Running production batches of various edibles including candy, chocolate and baked goods.
Working collectively and respectfully with other kitchen team members.
Training new kitchen team members
Maintain accurate documentations of executed tasks.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization, including but not limited to kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and dish washing.
Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
Follow all safety regulations
Ensure consistent quality.
Ensure an overall positive, safe and clean environment.
Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to learn a new computer program, Metrc.
Ability to understand and calculate dosages and potencies.
Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday
Working safely in a kitchen setting
Self-motivated
Be able to withstand repetitive tasks
Ability to multitask
Remain compliant with all legal and company regulations
Ability to communicate through various formats including email and phone
At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
Proper employment documentation
Ability to get a MT DOR cannabis employment agent badge
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Job is 5 days/week 36-40hr. Hours of work will generally be between 7am and 5pm and can be somewhat flexible
Environmental requirements and exposure:
Exposure to odors, high heat and/or low temperature; low humidity, high humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, and food allergens (Tapioca Starch, Flour, Dairy, Cherries, Strawberries, Chocolate, Ect…).
DESIRABLE
Experience and knowledge in kitchen production.
Good computer skills: Include proficiency in Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, Adobe, Cloud storage software like Google drive and Sync.
Basic computer network skills, can take direction for IT to troubleshoot and fix connectivity issues.
EDUCATION
Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent required.
