Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at The Sitting Duck. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and presentation of our menu items. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

- Culinary expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
