Bonfire in Woods Bay is a farm to table concept where we believe in the idea of handcrafted as the backbone for the food and drink we serve to our guests. We are looking to hire;
Line Cook (FT starting at $17/hr+ and tips)
Work week would be Wed-Sun, we're closed Mon/Tues
Responsibilities include:
-Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
-Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks
-Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
-Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
-Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
-Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
Preferred Skills & Abilities;
-At least one year of cooking experience
-Ability to work as part of a team
-Strong organization and active listening skills
-The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 50 pounds at a time
-Exceptional time management skills
-Desire to learn/play with food
PT Server (starting at $12/hr + tips) and
PT Host/Busser (Starting at $11/hr + tips)
Looking to fill Sat/Sun 9am-2pm and possibly 1 or 2 pm shifts per week
Responsibilities include:
-Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant
-Helping guests with reservations and guiding them to their table
-Giving guests accurate wait time estimates and seating them in the waiting area
-Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have
-Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff
-Assisting servers in clearing and resetting tables
