We are looking for a hardworking, invested individual who wants to learn our menu offerings and style while developing specials, working with the seasonal changes and teaming up with our staff in creating tasteful unique plates for our year-round guests. We serve locals and visitors as friends and family. Great food and drink is the name of the game.
Located off the Highway north of Olney we are a Bar & Restaurant with Lodging and Event space on the property. In the winter months we operate a Nordic Ski Operation. From wood-fired pizza to burgers and locally sourced steaks and chops, we bring quick creative eats to this corner of Northwest Montana. We have a green house and utilize our greens, fruits and vegetables in our menu year-round.
Experience/Qualifications:
1+ year as a line cook in a fast-paced restaurant
Kitchen management experience preferred - scheduling BOH staff, food/wares ordering, prep lists, maintaining cleanliness and consistency, reporting to management for issues
Experience on a charbroiler, flat top and 4 burner commercial cooktop as well as the safety operations that come with it
Experience with all types of commercial kitchen tools for prep, cooking and cleanup
Food/Drink handling certification. Serve Safe Manager Certification preferred or willingness to test and receive within first 6 months of employment
Honest, hardworking, detail oriented individual
Must be able to work evenings and weekends, 30+ hrs per week
Food ordering, inventory and restocking skills
Ability to work as a team player a MUST - communication is key
