Wellilfe Assisted Living is looking to add to our team. We are in search of a Part-Time Dietary Worker/Cook.
The Position is 2 days a week, plus on call for vacations, and sick days. Hours vary depending on the shift. Thursdays and Sundays are the primary days needed. Some of the duties include:
1. Coordinates, prepare and direct food preparation and meal service.
2. Plans and initiate cooking schedule for food preparation to meet meal schedule.
3. Reads menus, recipes, and review all necessary steps in meal preparation with the Dietary Manager.
4. Correctly prepare all food served following standard recipes and special diet orders.
5. Checks, inspects, and stores food products and supplies as delivered. Supervise and assist in storage of
supplies, and food products.
6. Follows cleaning schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) and sign off.
7. Cleans and maintain equipment (pots, pans, utensils) used during food preparation, sanitize after each use.
8. Maintains a sanitary kitchen, pantry and storage area.
