We currently have the opportunity for Crusher Laborer(s) to join our aggregate team in Kalispell, MT. We have one position supporting our out of town crew when needed and one position supporting our in town operations.
We are seeking hard-working motivated individuals who are looking for a long-term career in the construction industry. This is an entry level position providing the selected candidate the opportunity to develop a unique skillset and great opportunity for career growth.
Key Functions
Shovel excess materials from around and underneath conveyors, rollers, tail pulleys and other areas to prevent build up and belt stoppage.
Perform general plant maintenance (i.e. oiling, greasing, screen changes, bearing changes, belt repair, etc. on plant equipment) as directed.
Perform general clean-up, maintenance and housekeeping tasks at the crusher (keep parts van, crusher control van, catwalks, etc. free of debris and trip hazards).
Safely operate skid steer and mechanics truck.
Proficient with hand tools for general maintenance purposes.
Assist operators and other skilled labor when necessary.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Perform any other duties instructed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
Minimum two (2) years of labor experience strongly preferred.
Experience in Construction is also preferred.
Mechanical aptitude.
Specific Skills
Work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.

Team oriented with the ability to work independently when necessary
Self- starter
Ability to troubleshoot.
Must be able to work various shifts, days and overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements
Capable of lifting 50 to 75 lbs. regularly.
Move safely, quickly, and perform duties with repetitious movement.
Sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
Reach with hands and arms.
Bend at the waist, kneel, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull.
Climb ladders/steps.
Continuous use of hand tools for extended periods of time.
Walk varying distances and on uneven ground at times.
Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, and vibrations.
Compensation
Rate of pay $24 to $26 an hour based on experience.
Medical Insurance:
Year 1 – Employer covers 80% of total (family) premiums.
Years 2 & 3 – Employer covers 90% of total (family) premiums.
Years 4 or more - Employer covers 100% of total (family) premiums.
Employer Contribution toward Health Savings Account (HSA) for those who choose a High Deductible Health Plan.

Daily Per Diem when working away from Kalispell, MT.
