Job Descriptions:
Hazmat Tech:
Respond to hazardous materials spills, leaks and situations in an offensive fashion. Operations of site(s) hazmat, chemical storage, and lab spaces according to stated requirements. Ensure reliable consistent operation according to directions, stated requirements, and specifications of each job or the approval of management. Responds to specialized incidents involving process tools, tanks, non-tank vessels, intermodal tanks, flammable/non flammable gas bulk storage or cylinders, process piping and related equipment. Uses advanced equipment, such as pH meters, mass spectrometry and gas chromatography, to detect, identify, and monitor hazardous materials. Use machine tools and hand tools working with a variety of materials, working within the prescribed tolerances as directed. Uses a risk-based response process to analyze problems and selects applicable detection and monitoring equipment, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), decontamination procedures, and control equipment
Maintenance Engineer:
Responsible for maintenance and repairs to the buildings and grounds, related fixed and portable equipment and installation, while establishing a safe environment for the facility.
