Job Summary:

Full Time Housekeeping Manager needed for busy Vacation Rental business in Whitefish, Montana.

Year round - Five days a week including Saturdays and/or some Sundays, however, schedule can be somewhat varied and flexible depending on the season.

We’re looking for a professional, experienced housekeeping manager to perform impeccable housekeeping services and provide our guests with a safe and clean environment for an exceptional stay with us. You’ll lead our cleaning team to ensure everyone complies with high standards of cleanliness and sanitation protocol.

Experience in a supervisory role overseeing housekeeping staff or a similar role is required. If you have excellent communication skills and leadership experience, we highly encourage you to apply!

Applicant must have a valid Drivers License and an insured vehicle capable of driving to Whitefish Mountain Resort and other locations in the Whitefish area (4-wheel drive, good tires).

Housekeeping Manager Responsibilities:

Clean & inspect a variety of properties; cabins, condos and vacation homes in the Flathead Valley but mostly in Whitefish.

Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all rentals.

Schedule cleaning staff/sub contractors, to ensure all checkouts are cleaned in a timely manner. Learn our reservation system, and scheduling software.

Lead, hire, and train cleaning staff to adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction

Oversee the cleaning department budget, take inventory, and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies.

Document areas cleaned by staff, and report any issues such as damage or maintenance

Housekeeping Manager Qualifications:

3+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping director, or other similar position

At least 2+ years experience in hospitality or guest services

Extensive knowledge of cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies

Applicant should be an excellent leader, detail-oriented, and demonstrate a commitment to customer service

Applicant should have good computer skills, and have knowledge of basic email, word and be comfortable learning reservation software.
