Are you passionate about working with dogs and committed to providing top-notch care? Tally Ho Canine is seeking a dedicated Kennel Professional to join our team. This is a dual-role opportunity blending animal care expertise with hands-on training and sales assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
Animal Husbandry:
Feeding, administering medications, and monitoring the health of dogs.
Handling check-ins and check-outs of dogs with care and professionalism.
Providing potty breaks and ensuring dogs' overall well-being.
Maintaining cleanliness through regular grooming and facility upkeep.
Facility Maintenance:
Keeping kennel premises spotless, both indoors and outdoors.
Performing light maintenance on fencing and kennel structures.
Training & Sales Support:
Preparing dogs for training sessions and assisting in various exercises.
Supporting evaluations, private lessons, and client consultations.
Learning and assisting with client communication and sales processes.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven animal husbandry skills and a love for dogs.
Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
Willingness to learn and grow as a training assistant/apprentice.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction.
