Production Tech’s are responsible for all aspects of manufacturing nutritional dietary supplements which includes:
weighing out exact formula ingredients using the metric system (mg, g, Kgs)
blending ingredients
encapsulating (putting the blended powder into capsules)
polishing and inspecting capsules
cleaning rooms in preparation for the next product
This is all done in a clean room environment with the latest personal protective equipment.
A Manufacturing Production Tech must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, familiar with basic quality control, be able to lift 50 lbs, and work well under deadlines.
