Description: Join our team at Glacier Log Mill, a small, family-owned company. We’ve been proudly serving Montana for 20 years, transforming raw logs into beautiful log homes. We’re hiring saw operators to operate a 26” chop saw, a notcher, and other miscellaneous tasks in a log mill. Must be organized, physically fit, reliable, and ready to work in an indoor/outdoor environment year-round.
Pay: Starting at $24/hr (based on ability)
Qualifications:
Physically strong with the ability to lift 100+ lbs
Strict adherence to safety protocols (PPE provided)
Basic math skills for calculations
Ability to accurately maintain and work off a cut-list
Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and a noisy environment
Ability to read and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
Comfortable working with power tools and heavy materials
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Schedule: Typically 40 hours/week Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime during peak seasons
