POSITION SUMMARY
Immediate opportunity for a full-time, highly motivated, responsible, Compact/Utility Tractor & Construction Equipment Technician. Must have reliable transportation, proper tooling to support your work and a smart phone. Experience with Kubota or similar competitive brands preferred.

The company is locally owned, has been established for over 30 years and is one of the largest single location Kubota dealers in the country. We’re in business to sell, service and repair our customer’s equipment and provide exceptional product support to the construction, landscaping and homeowner markets. Our employee turnover is low with many employees having been with the company for 5+ years.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnose, service, repair & pressure wash equipment as directed by manager using Kubota’s 7 step diagnostic process.
Confirm repairs through test drive and provide guidance to customer of future needs.
Must be proficient with basic computer knowledge, email, web browsing skills & fluent typing.
Document findings and steps taken to complete a detailed write up of work performed on each job/segment.
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical & hydraulic schematic diagrams.
Provide detailed lists of parts needed to complete a repair or service job.
Communicate regularly with manager and/or customer as requested regarding the diagnosis and repair.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist others in doing the same.
Work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and perform tasks in a certain timeframe.
You must be an expert at prioritizing.
Accurately track job time using provided business software system while maintaining a minimum job efficiency.
Maintain sufficient tooling & certifications to perform requested duties.
Attend training school in person or online when requested.
Have a willingness to tackle new challenges and maintain a positive attitude with a 'can do' mentality.
Provide both onsite & in house repair work.
Fill in for parts counter and service writer positions as requested.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time along with walking, climbing ladders, reaching, pulling, leaning, twisting and able to lift up to 75lbs.
Ability to perform other company related duties as assigned.
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and able to be insured by the company insurance policy.
Pass a company background check.
Maintain company, vendor and product confidentiality.
DESIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED.
Preferred 2 or 4 year technical degree as it relates to the equipment industry.
Hydraulic, engine, electrical troubleshooting and repair training.
Preferred experience working on recent compact and construction equipment.
Prior dealership experience is beneficial.
Preferred 1-5 years of verifiable experience in the industry.
Computer proficiency using Microsoft office products and electronic service information systems.
WORKING SCHEDULE:
Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (1hr lunch break) – overtime as required.
Additional requests may be asked from time to time to assist w/ special company events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
