Job Summary
Our excavation company is looking for an operator to move dirt, rocks, and other materials on the job site. Our ideal candidate is fluent operating most pieces of heavy equipment such as a dozer, skid steer, or excavator, but we will consider all individuals with the appropriate skill set and willing to learn. You must be able to coordinate and collaborate with other workers and supervisors on-site, so clear communications skills are crucial.
Our jobsites are all in the scenic Flathead Valley.
Responsibilities and duties
Coordinate with other workers to determine dig sites and grade
Load and unload equipment from trailer in appropriate area
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment
Dig and backfill to grad
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or GED certificate
Heavy equipment routine maintenance knowledge
Communications skills
Experience reading architectural plans
Physical stamina
Salary and benefits
Pay $27 - $35 / hr DOE
