Acutech Metalworks LLC is a growing and busy manufacturing company located in beautiful Northwest Montana close to Glacier National Park and Whitefish Winter Resort (Big Mountain Ski Area).
We are currently looking for a well-versed Powder Coating and Wet Paint Manager. Our perfect candidate should have experience as follows:
Must have a thorough understanding of all powder coating line job duties including hanging, offloading, inspecting and packaging
Clean powder coating lines and booths, related equipment, and work areas
Determine paint flow, Mil thickness, and coating quality by performing visual inspections, or by using a Mil gauge
Maintenance of spray gun parts and booths as required
Understand and meet or exceed daily productivity requirements
Active involvement in continuous improvement activities and initiatives
Produce product that conforms 100% to customer requirements
Operate and maintain a safe and clean working environment
Perform other miscellaneous duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager
Troubleshoot technical problems
Understand bake times
Coordinate the daily production plan
Functions as the “go-to” person in the department
Coaches, mentors and works with all team members in their specific work areas to facilitate and coordinate fabricated product readiness and priority
Monitors quality of work performed by team members that is to be coated
Arrange incoming product to ensure area is clean and organize
Prep material as necessary for coatings
Sandblasting experience
Five years+ commercial powder coating experience

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
